If you choose to practice with me (and I hope you do!), you can expect a moderate approach to postures with attention to optimal alignment. Ideally, we will practice with full awareness of breath and incorporate meditation and sound with our movements.
When I practice asana regularly, I notice that all areas of my life are enhanced because I feel better. For me, finding ease in any physical shape translates into mental and spiritual ease. I am prepared to face life’s challenges when I feel strong, calm and centred. In this way, a regular yoga practice supports me in my multiple roles in the community as a daughter, sister, friend, student, teacher, and more. I am grateful to have a supportive community of practitioners around me at Life Yoga and in the broader Kingston area. I look forward to seeing you in the studio!
